SkepticFreethought.com was created June 2011 and was inspired by the community found at the 2011 CFI Student Leadership Conference in Amherst, NY. It started out as a single multi-author blog, but in the summer of 2012, it switched formats to a multi-blog network platform. This gives each writer their own personal space, while still sharing a community with the rest of the team. Over the years, readership has slowly increased a we add new writers and gain more attention.
We believe that younger voices need to be heard now in order to continue to grow and energize the secular movement into progress. This blog was created for student and young writers to contribute their thoughts to the growing secular and skeptic movements. It is this generation which will be the face of the movement in decades to come, but we would like to be heard now. We hope you are listening!
We are always eager for reliable new contributors. If you would like to join us, please check out how to join our writers.
